Ravi Shankar R

Ravi is a technologist with a proven track record of over 15 years with leadership roles in ASIC design & verification, VLSI design methodologies, EDA and software development. Ravi has conceptualized and engineered several IPs and methodologies in design and verification space, including WhizChip's revolutionary XPlan. In engineering lead capacities, he has successfully led the verification of several complex chips based on innovative techniques and methodologies. As an entrepreneur, Ravi has co-founded two start-ups over the last decade. Ravi's vision propels WhizChip's IP, technology and methodology group. Ravi has published several technical papers in various forums in the space of verification. Heading the innovation group at WhizChip, he is instrumental in creation of path-breaking products, IPs, methodologies and tools. During his stint at Synopsys, he is one of the early proponents of HVL based verification in India and Asia-pac region and has helped several semiconductor design houses adopt it. Later, as an engineering manager at Ample Communications, Ravi has delivered complex multi-site engineering assignments leading to commercially successful chips. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Manipal University. As a co-founder and CEO of WhizChip, Ravi has been working with international customers and drives the vision and values of WhizChip.
Raghavendra Mohan V
VP - Sales
Mohan has rich experience in EDA business development, semiconductor sales and high tech services sales in his career spanning over 16 years. He has innovated very creative business cases addressing SMEs and large organizations and ensured right value to customers. He possesses great industry landscape knowledge and has been an over achiever all through. Mohan has a successful entrepreneurship record of almost 10 years. At WhizChip, he has contributed to the concept of XPlan and has been instrumental in generating customer traction for WhizChip's differentiated service offerings based on its flagship methodologies. Mohan has co-founded two start-ups - Inspiration Technologies and WhizChip and has been responsible for business development in both these companies. As a key management executive, Mohan also has held several operational roles such as finance, marketing etc. Earlier, he was instrumental in business development in India region for Synopsys and has successfully managed several global semiconductor houses as well as key Indian start-ups. At WhizChip, apart from worldwide sales, Mohan is also responsible for ecosystem partnerships.
Vikas Kumar Soni
VP - Engineering
In his long experience of almost 14 years, Vikas has to his credit several on-time, quality ASIC/SoC execution spanning all through the spec to production release stages. He has constantly innovated and has been instrumental in delivering emulation, prototyping, silicon bring-up apart from micro-architecture and RTL design & verification. Vikas is experienced in both silicon + systems engineering and EDA space. He has put together and led multi-site engineering teams to deliver products on-time. Prior to co-founding WhizChip, in his stint at Synopsys, Vikas has worked on delivering implementation technologies. Later, as a design manager at Inspiration Technologies and then at Ample Communications, Vikas has led the engineering of several IPs and high-end chips. Currently, Vikas heads multiple practices within WhizChip engineering group - Services, Methodology, IP and Systems Engineering. Key service assets of WhizChip such as the EXPEDITE Library, the WhizBoard, RSP2RTL, various protocol analyzer and generator IPs are fruits of Vikas' innovation and vision. Vikas specializes in multi-site project execution process and has a credible track record working with WhizChip's esteemed global customers.
Dr Christophe Bianchi
VP - EMEA Sales
Dr. Bianchi has responsibilities for sales and marketing activities in Europe, Middle East and Africa for Whizchip. Before joining Whizchip, he was most recently Sales Group Director at Cadence, with responsibility for the worldwide sales of products, IP and services to major semiconductor and system companies. Prior to that, he held previous positions as Director of Business Development - Europe, at Silicon Perspective Corp., Vice-President Marketing at Simplex Solutions Inc., and as Director of Marketing at Frequency Technology. Mr Bianchi holds an engineering diploma from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon and an MSc and PhD from the INSA (Institut National des Sciences Appliquées), France, and a joint MBA from Imperial College and University of London, UK
